Flatter management structures in organizations lead to better performance

“The organizational team-based structure is an important way to remain competitive by responding quickly and adapting to constant and rapid changes.” (Northouse 2007, Ch 10, p 208).

What are the structures in the organizations that you have been involved with? Is there room for improvement? If so, try to change it. If you can’t change it from within the organization, try changing it from without. If you still can’t change it, consider leaving that organization.
