I just finished reading through the Health Australia Party’s policies, and I now think that this is a party that I like a lot, perhaps maybe only second to Flux and Online Direct Democracy, which don’t have any policies per se, only a process to directly influence governance by voting on bills.
It’s a shame that I didn’t take more time (than the considerable amount of time that I spent all day today and yesterday) to research the parties. As my vote would now be different for the Senate (the HAP did not have a candidate in Sydney or Bradfield).
I was initially misled about the party by someone’s comment on Facebook criticising the party as being misleading. It just goes to show the importance of not taking what people say at face value, and to investigate whether what they say is true.
